Forest View Elementary is a science-focused school. We have many outdoor science learning areas; bird blind, riparian observation deck and gardens.
In second grade, we have 4 major units of science. We study States of Matter, Sound, Weather, and Life Cycles.
In addition, we learn about scientific observation, conduct experiments, bats, spiders, penguins, polar bears, worms, Sea Otters, crystals, birds, habitats, and other fun and interesting science subjects!
The curiosity of the students drives additional investigation into various areas of study.
